This is amazing. Among tattoos, it's great that you experiment with where you make your art - i love this. What did you use to make the white patterns?
Gorgeous, and i love the Yggdrasil drum too. The name rings a bell - can you tell me what it's from?

Very, very, very, very, very, very cool! Dragons are my friends, and I like the style of this one... and on a drum? I never saw anyone paint a dragon on a drum before.
Nice!

the white patterns on this drum are actually water splatters that I used to dilute the ink that was brushed across the hide to darken it. The lighter colored bits are the original hide color. It turned out looking a bit like moon craters, hence the name of the drum.
The name Yggdrasil rings a bell? Its the name of the world tree from Norse Mythology. Someone on another gallery told me this dragon reminded them of Nidhogg (the serpent at the base of Yggdrasil who eats its roots).
This is cured deer hide. The ink is a very resistant mixed media ink manufactured by Koh-i-noor. I use both pen nib and brush to apply the ink, then when it is thoroughly dry I use a flexible liquid acrylic sealer. That way nothing interferes with the drum hide's natural movement and voice.
